ORDER TERMS

Terms for document translation

These terms describe the ordering, payment, delivery and customer-access rules used in Language Power's document translation service.

Version: 9 September 2026

1. About the service

These terms apply to document translation orders placed with Language Power International AS. The specific scope, language pair, certifications, additional services, price and estimated delivery shown in the order or accepted quote form part of the agreement.

2. Price and payment

A fixed-price order becomes active when payment is registered. For private customers using a quote, production normally starts after the quote is accepted and the required payment is registered. Business customers who are approved for invoicing confirm the order by accepting the quote and submitting the requested invoicing details. These business orders are invoiced by Language Power and do not require card payment unless otherwise agreed.

3. Delivery time

Estimated delivery is based on working days and the services selected. For prepaid orders, the estimate normally runs from registration of payment. For invoiced business orders, it normally runs from acceptance of the quote unless another start date is stated. The estimate may be updated when a more precise delivery date is known, for example because of capacity, notarisation appointments or other external processing.

4. Consumer withdrawal rights

Consumers have the statutory withdrawal rights that follow from applicable Norwegian law. If you expressly ask us to start the service before the withdrawal period has expired, you may be required to pay for work already performed if you later withdraw. When the service has been fully performed after the required request and acknowledgement, the right of withdrawal may lapse in accordance with applicable law.

5. Cancellation requests

A paid order cannot be cancelled automatically from the customer portal. You may send a cancellation request there. We will assess what work can still be stopped and whether any amount is due for work already performed before confirming the outcome.

6. Recipient requirements and legalisation

The customer is responsible for providing any specific requirements received from the authority, institution or other recipient. Requirements for government-authorised translators, notarisation, Apostille or other legalisation vary. Language Power only confirms services that are available for the relevant order and does not guarantee acceptance where the recipient has requirements that were not disclosed to us.

7. Files and secure access

Original documents and completed files are handled separately from order and accounting data. Secure customer access to document files is normally available for 30 days from publication of the completed file. Order, payment and accounting information may be retained for longer where required for administration, legal obligations or documentation.

8. Corrections

If you find a possible name, date, typographical, formatting or completeness issue in the delivered translation, you can report it through the secure order page. We will review the reported point and, where appropriate, provide an updated file.
